The Raptor Ride is a well supported bicycle ride starting and finishing at Brandon Hills Vineyard in Yadkinville, NC (www.brandonhillsvineyard.com). Cyclists choose from twenty, forty or sixty mile routes through the moderately hilly wine country of the Yadkin Valley. The ride begins with a release of a rehabilitated bird of prey from the Carolina Raptor Center. The Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental stewardship and the conservation of birds of prey, through education, research, and the rehabilitation of injured and orphan raptors (www.carolinaraptorcenter.org). All the proceeds of the ride benefit The Carolina Raptor Center.
